The sale on 11 winning games from The Game Awards 2024 has begun, offering substantial discounts across various digital storefronts. Most of these beloved titles are now at historically low prices, with deals expected to end between mid-December and early January, depending on individual promotions.
This year’s The Game Awards took place on December 12, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM ET, where Team Asobi’s acclaimed platformer, Astro Bot, dominated the event, securing four awards out of its seven nominations, including the prestigious Game of the Year (GOTY).
Shortly after the awards concluded, many of the honorees saw immediate discounts, while some had already been on sale in the lead-up to the event. As of December 13, the sale includes a variety of titles, like Helldivers 2, which is now available for a low price of $31.99 on Steam. PlayStation 5 users can access a discount on the Super Citizen Edition, priced at $47.99, reflecting a 20% reduction from its usual cost.

Of the 11 titles from the TGA 2024 award winners currently discounted, eight are seeing their prices slashed to historic lows. Among these is Ninja Theory’s acclaimed cinematics-focused game, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, available for just $24.99 on Steam, reflecting a 50% discount. The Xbox Store offers a version at a reduced price of $32.49, with a slightly smaller 35% discount. Although the Xbox Store deals are not the deepest, they remain available longer, lasting until early January 2025. Meanwhile, players on PC and PlayStation platforms must act swiftly to capitalize on these limited-time offers.
This promotional period includes discounts on highly anticipated titles, most notably the unreleased PC port of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which Square Enix announced at the recent ceremony. Available for pre-order at 30% off, this title is set for release on January 23, 2025, and will typically retail at $69.99. This discount also applies to the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Twin Pack that includes the first installment of the Final Fantasy 7 remake series.
