Pokemon Sleep is welcoming the new year with an exciting event, enhancing encounter rates for nearly all Pokemon introduced during the year 2024. Recognizing that many individuals struggle to maintain a consistent sleep schedule as the year begins, the developers aim to motivate players to prioritize rest through this unique initiative.
Since its initial release in July 2023, Pokemon Sleep has captured the interest of fans worldwide. This mobile-exclusive app utilizes a phone’s microphone and internal sensors to monitor the duration and quality of a player’s sleep, generating daily reports that reward users based on their sleep experiences.

Throughout the event, players will discover these Pokémon across various regions of the game, with their numbers significantly increased in their typical habitats. Notably, six Pokémon—including Dratini, Ralts, Stufful, Aron, Shinx, and Grubbin—will be exclusive to Greengrass Isle. Therefore, players keen on encountering these specific Pokémon will need to focus their exploration efforts in that area.
While the event features numerous exciting Pokémon, players hoping to catch the Legendary Pokémon introduced in 2024, such as Entei, Raikou, or Suicune, will find them excluded from the boosted encounter rates. These legendary creatures will continue to have a rare appearance rate of roughly 1 in 500. Nevertheless, players can look forward to several other incentives, including a 50% boost in candy rewards during Week 1, a 25% increase for the main skill triggering, and a 50% rise in Dream Shard accumulation during Week 2.
