He posted an update on his pet dog Bam’s official Instagram account, featuring a photo of Bam along with five hearts and the caption, “Artists are not guilty.”He followed this with another picture of Bam, captioned, “Don’t use them.”
The K-pop community quickly made the connection that the color of the five hearts corresponded to the individual colors of NewJeans members, leading to assumptions that the male artist was publicly supporting the female group amid the controversies surrounding their parent company and its subsidiary.

On March 3, 2023, BTS’ Jungkook used the South Korean social media platform Weverse to groove to NewJeans’ Hype Boy, participating in a popular dance challenge that circulated on various social media platforms across South Korea at the time.
During his live broadcast, the male artist hosted a home party with ARMYs, engaging in singing, drinking, and interaction for approximately two hours. While fetching his beer, NewJeans’ Hype Boy played in the background, prompting him to spontaneously perform the choreography with a beer can in each hand.
