“He’s So Dramatic!” — Funny Fan Theory Surfaces About BTS’ Namjoon’s Restored Instagram Feed

Kim Namjoon, the leader of BTS, sparked significant online discussion after he revamped his Instagram feed by unarchiving numerous posts across both accounts, @rkive and @rpwprpwprpwp. Fans noticed this change on September 15, 2024, and quickly took to social media to speculate whether the BTS member might be dating someone.

Some fans speculated that the rapper-songwriter could be in a relationship with another man. On September 12, Namjoon celebrated his 30th birthday, sharing several photos on his Instagram account.

One Instagram picture featured a man, but RM obscured the individual’s face with a ghost emoji. This wasn’t the first time the idol had posted photos with another male while using an emoji to conceal his identity.

Fans eagerly jumped to conclusions, suggesting that Namjoon’s second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, contained lyrics that reflected his heartbreak. They linked his sudden decision to shave his head in August 2023, archiving numerous Instagram posts, and crafting a full-length album focused on breakups to potential developments in his personal life.

Therefore, when fans observed that he had seemingly unarchived several older photos, they commented:

“And he’s so DRAMATIC about it too. Like imagine all this from a guy’s POV.”

Fans highlighted their theory that Namjoon’s alleged “situationship”with another man inspired his songwriting for the second album, joking about a potential rekindling of their relationship.

“The way he unarchived all these pics too like he never deleted them in case they got back together again lmaoo. He knew he was gonna go back to him my man is LONG GONE,”another fan said excitedly.

“Ppl calling it situationship when Namjoon was going on trips with him everywhere, meeting the parents, and he dramatically removed all traces of him at one point, shaved his head, and now they’re back??? like baby I know what your fave Chappell Roan song is,”another fan joked.

“Joon gotta catch a grip bc how do you delete all ur posts with this guy, buzz all ur hair off, post ‘Bad Religion’, go on live talking ’bout some don’t get into shitty relationship problems just to post with a guy & a ghost emoji,”one fan added.

However, some fans expressed dissatisfaction regarding the viral fan theories about the Groin rapper-songwriter’s dating life, stating that he had unarchived these posts months ago.

“He unarchived everything months ago and the fact that y’all are only noticing now bc you need new drama says a lot,”a fan highlighted on X.

“We should start putting community notes on these armys tweets when they lie, they are pissing me off. Can’t stream but will be on the forefront to talk about his personal life,”another fan expressed disappointment.

“Like we don’t have enough drama out here on the daily, do we really need to do this on top of it,”one other fan questioned.
