Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty’s Combined Net Worth: Ex-Security Guard Claims They Haven’t Paid Settlement Amount

Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, are facing accusations for failing to pay a legal settlement to former security guard Thomas Weidenmuller. Back in January 2024, they were accused of assaulting him during an incident in 2022. Weidenmuller alleges that he had a dispute with Minaj regarding her treatment of a female staff member, during which she purportedly threw a shoe at him. He further claims that Kenneth Petty subsequently attacked him, allegedly influenced by Minaj.

The security guard originally sought $700,000 in damages but ultimately had to accept a default judgment of $500,000 after Minaj and Petty failed to respond to the lawsuit. Despite this, the couple has reportedly continued to avoid cooperating and are allegedly evading the $500,000 settlement, as noted by The Jasmine Brand.

As reported by Celebrity Net Worth, Nicki Minaj boasts a net worth of $150 million, while her husband, Kenneth Petty, has a net worth estimated at $500,000. Minaj has achieved sales of over a hundred million records globally and was recognized as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2016.

Despite the court ruling, Minaj and Petty have allegedly not complied with the settlement. Consequently, Weidenmuller filed a memo of costs and a writ of execution against them in September 2024. This legal action has escalated the total settlement amount from $503,318 to $526,110.74.

Recently, Nicki Minaj publicly criticized Jay-Z for failing to resolve her financial claims relating to her 2015 investment in his streaming service, Tidal. Minaj signed a deal with Tidal, appearing alongside industry giants like Madonna and Rihanna at a prominent signing event in 2015.

On September 10, 2024, Minaj vented her frustrations about Jay-Z in the comments of a DJ Akademiks TikTok video.

“I didn’t even get one red penny when no one promoted it more than me outside of Beyoncé. lol chi,”the rapper posted.

However, Minaj’s claims seem inconsistent with reports regarding Tidal’s financial dealings. In 2021, Jay-Z sold Tidal for an impressive $300 million, and according to The Shade Room, all stakeholders received $8.9 million for their 3% stake, including Nicki Minaj.

Just a day before her comments about Tidal, Minaj criticized Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for choosing Kendrick Lamar over native artist Lil Wayne to headline the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans.

Minaj vented on X, writing:

“Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego. Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!!!!!! THE GOAT?!!!!!!!!!!! Nola what’s good?!!!!!! Eminem stood firm on having 50Cent come out. A white man. Sh*t sad. House N****R TINGZ. but it’s GOOD FI DEM!!!!!!! No loyalty? Welp. then n****z will keep son’ing you!!!!!”

In light of recent events, Nicki Minaj has decided to cancel the much-anticipated Gag City Reloaded deluxe version of her album Pink Friday 2 and has announced the upcoming release of her new album, Pink Friday 3.
