The patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 have been officially released. This final season of Modern Warfare 3 reintroduces the beloved event The Haunting in celebration of Halloween. Players can look forward to exploring a brand-new 6v6 map and several special map variants related to The Haunting. Although Season 6 does not include new content for Zombies, minor updates are available for fans to discover as well.

  • Arena Shipment (6v6, Shipment Variant)
  • Display your prowess in front of an (entirely real) crowd in Arena Shipment.
  • Stay High (6v6, Shipment Variant)
  • Yo, dawg, we know you enjoy Get High, so we integrated Get High into your Shipment so you can Stay High while you play.
  • Bit-ment (6v6, Shipment Variant)
  • Pixels and polygons collide in the retro-themed Bit-ment.
  • Ghost Ship (6v6, Shipment Variant)
  • Shadows and terror shroud every corner of the Ghost Ship grounds.
  • Sunny Shipment (6v6, Shipment Variant)
  • Today’s forecast predicts clear skies and great vibes in Sunny Shipment.

New Weapons

  • Kastov LSW (Light Machine Gun, Battle Pass)
  • Featuring a top-tier fire rate and Tac Stance accuracy, this LMG was designed to dominate enemies at short to medium distances.
  • DTIR 30-06 (Battle Rifle, Battle Pass)
  • Take down long-range threats with this slow-firing, hard-hitting battle rifle chambered in. 30-06.

  • XTEN Binate Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • A large-caliber suppressor equipped with an integral laser for tactical, stealthy operations.
  • Bracefire-HC Grip (Underbarrel)
  • A side-angled foregrip that enhances recoil control, stability, and handling.
  • Caster-X1 Compensator (Muzzle)
  • A vented compensator engineered to provide superior muzzle control with higher caliber rounds.

New Aftermarket Parts

Alongside the new Aftermarket Parts, you can unlock the Drawn and Quartered animated Weapon Camo by completing all four Weekly Challenges.

  • JAK Salvo (KATT-AMR Sniper Rifle, Week 1 Challenges)
  • A sniper modification that launches anti-materiel explosive rockets inflicting massive explosive damage.
  • JAK Lance (MX Guardian Shotgun, Week 2 Challenges)
  • A pressurized magazine firing three ballistic rivets consecutively. Pressure accumulates while the weapon is idle until peak output is achieved, vastly increasing velocity and precision.
  • JAK Voltstorm (Stormender Launcher, Week 4 Challenges)
  • High-voltage electricity flows through copper coils, discharging a lethal bolt that can strike multiple targets.

Multiplayer

UIX

  • Locked MWII Weapon Mastery Calling Cards are now accessible in the Customization menu.
  • Bug Fixes
  • Resolved an issue causing an incorrect mode icon to display during map voting.
  • Fixed a performance drop in the menu when tracking Challenges.
  • Corrected an issue that led to disbanding parties when transitioning to Warzone.

Progression

  • Numerous static and animated Calling Cards and Emblems have been added to Armory Unlocks.

Modes

Cyber Attack

  • Fixed an issue where icons indicating death and bomb carrier were missing on the scoreboard in Hardcore mode.
  • Addressed a problem causing enemy pings to remain active even after death.
  • Rectified an issue where Enhanced Vision Goggles displayed red outlines on deceased enemies.
  • Eliminated a crash that occurred when a player using Juggernaut Recon Killstreak was killed.
  • Resolved an issue that rendered the Spear unusable after being revived.

Infected

  • Fixed a bug that hindered the Final Survivor health bonus functionality in Private Matches.
  • The Final Survivor health bonus will now persist even when another Survivor joins an ongoing match post Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 patch notes update.
  • Players will no longer inadvertently activate the Dead Silence Field Upgrade upon becoming the First Infected after the patch update.
  • Disabled UAV sweeps for the Infected to allow Survivors to conceal themselves following the Season 6 patch update.
  • Extra time is now added only for the first five Survivor deaths, effectively capping the maximum match duration at five minutes after the patch update.
  • The majority of available maps have been reinstated to the Infected Playlist following the patch update.
  • Enhanced Infected Loadouts have been adjusted to align with Survivor Loadout changes after the patch update.
