Genshin Impact: Locations of Tribal Secret Spaces and Unlocking Methods
As previously stated, unlocking a Tribal Secret Space for any tribe entails finding three Obsidian Ring Fragments and combining them into a single Obsidian Ring. Each tribe has its own unique Obsidian Ring Fragments and Rings. Acquiring these fragments can be both difficult and time-consuming, as they are randomly obtained by opening Precious and Luxurious chests in Natlan. Due to the random nature of this loot system, you might stumble upon the fragments early, or you may not find the last one until after opening the final Precious or Luxurious chest in the region.
Furthermore, successfully completing Master Trainer challenges placed throughout the Natlan map at a sufficient rank will reward you with high-rarity chests that might contain the required Obsidian Ring Fragments.
Below, you will find the locations of the Tribal Secret Spaces associated with each tribe, along with the specific Obsidian Rings needed to access them:
1) Tribal Secret Space: Children of Echoes
To gain access to the Children of Echoes Tribal Secret Space, you need to obtain the Yellow Obsidian Ring by collecting three Yellow Obsidian Ring Fragments. These fragments can be found by opening high-rarity treasure chests located in the Tequemecan Valley and the Basin of Unnumbered Flames.
Once you’ve crafted the Yellow Obsidian Ring, head to the Children of Echoes tribe’s secret trove.
To find the secret trove, teleport to the underground waypoint north of the Children of Echoes and jump down the cliff heading south. The secret trove is located within a small cave where you can use the Yellow Obsidian Ring to unlock it and claim your rewards.
2) Tribal Secret Space: Scions of the Canopy
To unlock the Scions of the Canopy Tribal Secret Space, you will need to find three Green Obsidian Ring Fragments and combine them to craft a Green Obsidian Ring. These fragments can be located in high-rarity chests within the Coatepec Mountain region.
Once you’ve obtained the Green Obsidian Ring, you can access the secret trove belonging to the Scions of the Canopy tribe.
To find the secret trove, teleport to the waypoint south of the Scions of the Canopy region and head southwest. Jump down, and you will discover the secret trove at the bottom of a small cave, where the Green Obsidian Ring is required to unlock it.
3) Tribal Secret Space: People of the Springs
To access the People of the Springs Tribal Secret Space, you must collect three Azure Obsidian Ring Fragments and combine them to acquire the Azure Obsidian Ring. These fragments can be found by opening the high-rarity treasure chests available in the Toyac Springs region.
After you have the Azure Obsidian Ring, make your way to the secret trove of the People of the Springs and unlock it.
To reach the secret trove, teleport to the waypoint north of the People of the Springs and head southeast. You’ll find the secret trove situated inside a small cave near the beach, which requires the Azure Obsidian Ring to unlock.
