On Monday, September 16, rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City. The following day, September 17, a grand jury reportedly made Combs’ arrest records public as part of an indictment that detailed the events leading to his arrest.
According to a report by the Guardian published on September 17, the rapper faces serious accusations of racketeering and s*x trafficking in the indictment. These allegations arose after federal agents raided Diddy’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles in March 2024 in connection with lawsuits filed against him.
Since his arrest, more information has emerged regarding the findings from the raids, as the indictment was made available online. The indictment noted that approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil were discovered at Diddy’s residence.
Additionally, the documents indicate that federal agents uncovered three AR-15 rifles and several bottles of lubricant at the rapper’s home. Other items included “controlled substances, extra linens, and lighting,”as detailed in the indictment.
FBI Seizes Various Items from Diddy’s Residence
NBC News has reported that the indictment also claims Diddy has a historical pattern of abusing women and other individuals, suggesting that he is the alleged leader of a racketeering conspiracy.
Furthermore, law enforcement reportedly seized “firearms and ammunition, including three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers.”The document asserts that Diddy and his associates threatened and intimidated others, including victims and witnesses of his alleged abuse, using their firearms.
The indictment also describes “Freak Offs,”parties involving drugs and s*x, which Diddy and his associates allegedly organized. Evidence of these events was reportedly gathered during the March raid. The court filing stated:
“In or about March 2024, during searches of Combs’ residences in Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California, law enforcement seized various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.”
The court documents describe the elaborate nature of these days-long events, which purportedly resulted in s*x performances that Combs arranged, directed, and often filmed.
The indictment claims that Combs coerced women into engaging in s*x sessions with male prostitutes, many of which were recorded. According to reports from Outkick, the indictment elaborates:
“Members and associates of the Combs Enterprise… facilitated the Freak Offs by… booking hotel rooms for the Freak Offs; stocking the hotel rooms in advance with the required Freak Off supplies, including controlled substances, baby oil, lubricant, extra linens, and lighting…”
Regarding the March raid, the FBI asserted that these Freak Offs could last for days, often leaving both Diddy and the victims requiring IV fluids afterward due to “physical exertion and drug use.”Allegedly, his staff assisted in organizing trips and preparing hotel rooms with necessary items for these events.
The Guardian further reported that details about the verbal, mental, and physical abuse occurring during these Freak Offs are included in the indictment.
Additionally, according to an article by Outkick published on September 16, the indictment noted:
“COMBS also used the sensitive, embarrassing, and incriminating recordings that he made during Freak Offs as collateral to ensure the continued obedience and silence of the victims.”
The indictment details instances where the founder of Bad Boy Records allegedly “hit, kicked, threw objects at, and dragged victims, at times, by their hair”during these events.
The raid followed a lawsuit filed by Diddy’s long-time girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, in November 2023, in which she accused him of years of assault. Although Diddy quickly settled the case, other individuals, including Dawn Richard, a former member of Danity Kane, have also come forward with accusations against him.
As of now, Diddy or his representatives have not issued any official comments regarding the arrest.
