Availability of EA FC 25 on Xbox Game Pass

EA FC 25, the latest installment in EA’s beloved football simulation series, will not be available to play for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch. However, subscribers will have an opportunity to experience the game. EA FC 25 features updated elements including enhanced gameplay mechanics, a new Ultimate Team mode called Rush, and improvements to Career mode.

Players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition or Loyalty Edition will enjoy early access to the game, starting from September 20, 2024. In contrast, those choosing the Standard Edition will have to wait until the full release on September 27, 2024.

For PC gamers subscribed to EA Play Pro, the game will be available in its entirety upon launch, offering complete access to all modes and features. This subscription service is particularly advantageous for dedicated EA Sports fans, as it allows them to enjoy the full experience without the need to purchase the game outright.

However, for Xbox users subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, the availability of EA FC 25 is more limited. Although it’s not part of the Game Pass lineup at launch, subscribers with Xbox Game Pass, which includes EA Play, can access a 10-hour trial.

This trial provides players with a preview of the action before deciding whether to purchase the game. After the trial period ends, they can buy the full version of EA FC 25 to continue playing, with no loss of progress, as their data transfers seamlessly to the full version.

When can we expect EA FC 25 on Xbox Game Pass?

Although EA FC 25 is not available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, there is potential for it to join the service later. Historically, EA titles such as EA FC 24 and FIFA 23 were added to Game Pass during the later months of the game’s annual cycle, typically around May or June.

Therefore, it is likely that EA Sports FC 25 will follow a similar pattern. If this trend continues, Xbox Game Pass members might gain access to the full game by mid-2025, approximately eight months after its release.

For now, Xbox Game Pass subscribers seeking the complete experience will need to purchase the game after the trial or await its potential availability on Game Pass.
