The Circle Fans React: Madelyn and Kevin Target Darian in “Need to Go” Controversy

The Circle Season 7 released Episodes 5-8 on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. In Episode 7, viewers said goodbye to Heather, also known as Andy, as Madelyn orchestrated Heather’s exit to protect herself and Rachel from being eliminated. Before leaving the game, Heather opted to have her final conversation with Madelyn.

After Heather’s eviction, Madelyn and Rachel’s influence as disruptors came to an end, prompting them to revert to their initial profiles. However, Madelyn decided to keep the drama alive by manipulating the other players during the same episode. She fabricated a story claiming that Andy had informed her about someone’s betrayal, suggesting it was Darian. Her goal was to undermine Darian’s position and ultimately eliminate him by turning the other contestants against him.

Madelyn quickly garnered her first ally in Kevin, who, despite being part of an alliance with Darian, agreed to betray him. She convinced Kevin with lies, stating that Darian planned to betray him by siding with his Circle wife, Jadejha. Feeling threatened, Kevin opted to endanger Darian’s game by partnering with Madelyn.

The Circle audience expressed their outrage at Madelyn’s manipulative gameplay. Fans criticized Kevin for so readily switching sides, sharing their thoughts on X regarding the duo’s secret alliance.

“Madelyn and Kevin need to go. I can’t stand them! I can’t believe how much of a flip-flopper Kevin is. How are you turning on every alliance you make?”a fan wrote.

“Kevin and Madelyn should date. They both lie so much and come up with stories so easily,”another fan commented.

“I swear I’ll knock all this stuff over if Kevin & Madelyn get to the end. Disgusting snakes,”a netizen tweeted.

Fans of The Circle condemned Madelyn for unjustly villainizing Darian, feeling that her accusations against him were unfounded and showcased her in a negative light.

“This Madelyn girl is evil,”a user reacted.

“All I’m gonna say is that Madelyn #TheCircle is manipulative and borderline narcissistic. No morals, no ethics, and no loyalty—she stabs people in the back just for fun and tries to manipulate others to do her dirty work. You’re a snake,”a person commented.

“The delusion. Madelyn is the villain everyone thought Kevin was,”another fan wrote.

Meanwhile, many fans criticized Kevin for collaborating with Madelyn to betray his ally, Darian.

“Oh Kevin. Poor sweet naive little Kevin. You’ve been played like a fiddle, sir. You should always stick to the bro code! Darian was your boy from the start, and you let Madelyn plant seeds of doubt in your mind,”a user tweeted.

“Madelyn is playing Kevin like a puppet, and he’s really letting it happen,”another person commented.

“Madelyn and Kevin have got to go. They’re frustrating me so much, especially during episode 7,”one netizen reacted.

What transpired between Madelyn and Kevin in The Circle Season 7 Episode 7?

Following Heather’s exit, who was playing Andy, Madelyn utilized the Circle Chat to update the others about her conversation with Andy. She hinted that Andy had accused Darian of disloyalty, but this was a fabrication that Madelyn created to incite conflict.

“Heather really didn’t give me that much tea, but it could be a good strategic move to make something up and get people mad at somebody,”Madelyn said.

While she didn’t disclose any names, her insinuations directed attention towards Darian. Later in the episode, Kevin invited Madelyn for a private discussion, eager for more details about the supposed saboteur. Madelyn confirmed she was referring to Darian, claiming he meant to betray the Bro Alliance.

“Andy told me that Darian planned on ranking you towards the bottom to benefit his Circle wife and her alliances,”Madelyn added.

Shocked by this information, Kevin agreed to alter his strategy and aligned with Madelyn. Thrilled that Kevin believed her story, Madelyn noted that he trusted her more than Darian, whom he felt he didn’t “know on a personal level.”

As the competition progressed, The Circle cast made commitments to rank each other at the top while pushing Darian down to last place.

The Circle Season 7 is exclusively available for streaming on Netflix.
