“Bro DEFINITELY Should Have Kept the Features” — Internet Reacts to Future’s Removal of Features from Mixtape Pluto Ahead of Official Release

On September 20, 2024, renowned American rapper Future launched his highly anticipated mixtape titled Mixtape Pluto, which includes 17 tracks. Despite the rapper’s extended teasers hinting at exciting collaborations on songs like “Told My”and “South of France,”the finalized mixtape surprisingly does not feature any guest artists.

The absence of collaborations on Future’s latest project sparked reactions across social media platforms, particularly on X, where users voiced their opinions on the matter. One user remarked:

“Bro DEFINITELY should’ve kept the features.”

“Let’s go hidden features on Mixtape Pluto!” another user chimed in.

“Future went solo on all 18 tracks. While we admire his style, isn’t this meant to be a mixtape? Where’s his usual crew?”one user questioned.

“In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have stayed up until 5 AM, tbh,”another user tweeted, alluding to the time the mixtape was released.

Additionally, several users criticized the album for being overly repetitive:

Mixtape Pluto is wayyy too repetitive to lack features,”one user pointed out.

“It all sounded the same. This feels like a cash grab,”another user remarked.

“I was pretty disappointed. Not many highlights on the album, and most tracks blend together like wallpaper. It’s definitely missing features, and I don’t think many of the beats stood out. Probably only gonna revisit ‘Lost My Dog,’ ‘Ocean,’ and ‘Too Fast,’”an internet user tweeted.

These responses came shortly after Future revealed the full tracklist on September 17, 2024, and the cover art on September 11, 2024. This followed Travis Scott’s teaser about potentially collaborating on the track “South of France.”In a video shared by Travis Scott on September 7, 2024, titled the same as the track, fans caught glimpses of producer Southside and Future in the studio, hinting at a behind-the-scenes look that ultimately led to a featureless release.

“Why are you yelling for?”- Future confronts a fan during Milan Fashion Week

In a separate incident, Future attended Milan Fashion Week, where a video went viral showing him confronting a fan who was shouting in his face. The footage captures the Superhero rapper seated in the back of his car while a man behind the camera expresses admiration for him.

While Future initially smiled in appreciation, he soon turned to the fan and said:

“Appreciate you, man. Why are you yelling for? Chill.”

Moreover, the Like That rapper playfully mimicked the fan before rolling up his window, as his car moved past. The fan shared the moment online with the caption:

“Future asking me to chill is crazy.”

In related news, the Solo rapper recently concluded his We Trust You Tour alongside Metro Boomin on September 9, 2024, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Futureexpressed his gratitude to fans on X the following day, stating that he is “grateful for every moment in every city.”
