On September 14, several netizens took to X to allegedly direct colorist remarks at BTS’ Taehyung following recent updates regarding the idol’s military service. A photo of Taehyung at his military camp surfaced online, showing him appearing more tanned than usual. Many netizens speculated that this change in skin tone may be attributed to his training that involves extensive sun exposure.

However, when some netizens began to make offensive jokes and colorist comments about Taehyung’s complexion, his fans quickly rallied to his defense. They emphasized that making comments about someone’s skin tone is inappropriate and expressed that such actions are disrespectful and undesired. BTS Taehyung’s Solo Activities, Updates, and Military Service

BTS’ Taehyung, also known as V, is a vocalist in the popular K-pop boy group that debuted in 2013 under BigHit Entertainment, now known as HYBE Labels. While being a key member of the group, he has also cultivated a successful solo career.

He has put out several tracks as part of BTS albums, including “Inner Child”and “Singularity.”Furthermore, he has independently released tracks on SoundCloud, such as “Winter Bear”and “Snow Flower”featuring Peakboy. His official solo career began in September 2023 with the release of his debut album LayoVer, dedicated to his beloved pet dog, Yeontan. The album showcased various musical styles, including pop and RnB. Following the warm reception from fans, he prepared for his comeback in March 2024 with a single titled “FRI(END)S.”

In addition, Taehyung is fulfilling his mandatory military service, having enlisted on December 12, 2023. He completed his basic military training as an Elite Trainee and is currently serving as a special forces member in the 2nd Division Military Police Corps. His expected discharge date is around June 2025.
