The single was officially released on January 24, 2024, under IU’s agency, Edam Entertainment, serving as the lead track from her sixth Korean EP, The Winning.

Sources indicate that the BTS star may have been on a brief leave from his military responsibilities, allowing him to be present at IU’s concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Prior to his attendance, Taehyung posted an Instagram story on his handle @thv, featuring a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the creation of Love Wins All. Fans speculated that this could have served as a subtle hint of his anticipated presence at the concert.

Love Wins All has achieved remarkable success in South Korean music charts, winning eight first-place trophies, including a triple crown on Inkigayo. As of now, the music video has amassed over 77 million views.

The track also reached number 25 on the Billboard Global 200, secured the third place on the US World Digital Song Sales chart, and was positioned at number 80 on the Japan Hot 100.

Meanwhile, Taehyung continues his military service and is expected to complete it alongside other BTS members by June 2025.
