“My VHope Heart” — BTS Fans Excited to See j-hope and Taehyung Together at IU’s Seoul Concert

BTS rapper Jung Hoseok, popularly known by his stage name j-hope, made an appearance at IU’s final concert held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 22, 2024. He was spotted in the VIP section alongside his fellow BTS member, Kim Taehyung, also known as V. Taehyung shared a photo featuring j-hope on his Instagram story, delighting fans.

For those unfamiliar, j-hope started his mandatory military service in South Korea on April 18, 2023. He is currently in the last month of his enlistment and is expected to be discharged on October 17, 2024.

The BTS fandom was ecstatic to witness the reunion of these two members for the first time since June 2024. The last time j-hope and Taehyung were seen together was on June 12, 2024, the day BTS’ Kim Seokjin was released from military service. Consequently, the photos and videos from the event quickly went viral on social media. One fan commented,

“My vhope heart. I miss them so much!”

Fans expressed their excitement to see the two BTS artists enjoying their time together at IU’s final concert from her HER or HEREH World Tour.

“You just have to see the smile on my face whenever I see the tannies hanging out together. God, I miss them so bad,”said one fan.

Many fans humorously acknowledged their astonishment whenever the BTS members interact with each other.

“So because we saw IU, we basically all saw IU with Hobi and Taehyung. Right? Right.”commented one fan.

“I gasp every time BTS does something together LIKE THEY KNOW EACH OTHER??”joked another fan.

BTS’ Jin Jokes About Kidnapping j-hope After Military Discharge for RUN JIN

j-hope is set to make his highly anticipated return to the entertainment scene in less than a month. On September 21, 2024, his bandmate, Kim Seokjin, known as Jin, hosted a Weverse livestream where he amusingly suggested that he would “kidnap”the Arson rapper after his discharge and take him to the filming set of RUN JIN.

For those who don’t know, RUN JIN is Jin’s reality show where he invites celebrity friends to participate in fun games. During his livestream, he conveyed his desire for j-hope to appear on his show, saying,

“Hobi will definitely appear on Run Seokjin! Because I will make him. He will appear at least once. I can kidnap J-Hope the moment he gets discharged and drag him to the filming site. Hope-ah, I don’t know if you’ll see this or not, but I started working at 12 o’clock after I got out.”

Additionally, while still serving in the military, BTS’ j-hope released his second solo album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1, on March 29, 2024, through his agency, BIGHIT MUSIC. He also premiered his solo docu-series, HOPE ON THE STREET, on Prime Video on March 28.
