COD Mobile Summer Invitational 2024: Prize Pool Distribution, MVP, and Winners

The COD Mobile Summer Invitational 2024 wrapped up on September 22, with the Filipino team Elevate claiming the championship title. This triumph came with a cash reward of $28,361. Elevate showcased their dominance throughout the Knockout Stage, securing victory in a decisive manner. KenDy, a standout player on their roster, earned the title of FMVP by delivering an outstanding performance.

This year’s Knockout Stage took place at the Chengdu AG Esports Centre in China, featuring a generous prize pool of nearly $71,000. The competition began with ten teams competing in the Group Stage, from which eight advanced to the Knockout rounds.

Elevate began their journey in the Knockout Stage with a strong performance, defeating India’s GodLike in Round 1. They proceeded to outshine Stalwart in the LB Quarterfinals and showcased their skill by triumphing over the reigning world champions, Wolves, in the LB Semifinals.

They secured a thrilling victory against XROCK in the LB Finals, which allowed them to qualify for the Grand Finals. In the climactic match against Qing Jiu Club, Elevate emerged victorious with a score of 4-1. Remarkably, the team did not drop a single match in the Knockout Stage, culminating in their championship victory.

Qing Jiu Club began the COD Mobile tournament strongly and continued their success into the Knockout Stage, securing a win over Stalwart in their opener. They went on to dominate XROCK in the Upper Bracket Finals but faltered against Elevate in the Grand Finals, ultimately finishing in second place.

India’s Team GodLike faced elimination after their initial match against Elevate, while Team Vitality, another Indian squad, had an impressive performance in the Group Stage but couldn’t maintain their momentum in the Knockout Stage, resulting in their exit from the tournament.

Looking ahead, teams will be gearing up for the upcoming World Championship 2024, scheduled for October in Atlanta, United States. Many squads that participated in the COD Mobile Summer Invitational will also be vying for glory in this prestigious tournament.
