Agatha All Along: Is Wanda Maximoff Really Dead or Will She Make a Cameo?

Wanda Maximoff, widely regarded as one of the most intelligent and powerful witches in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), first made her presence known through various TV shows and films. Her character truly captured the audience’s admiration following her standout performance in WandaVision. Many fans resonated with Wanda and showed their affection for her character.

Wanda was cherished for her kind heart, which shone through despite her witchcraft. However, her story took a dark turn when she succumbed to the corruption of the Darkhold. In her desperate quest to reunite with her imaginary children across the multiverse, she committed numerous heinous acts. Ultimately, in the climactic moments of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda recognizes her wrongdoings and sacrifices herself, even destroying the Darkhold in the process. With Agatha’s narrative intertwining with Wanda’s, fans are left questioning whether she is truly dead or if Agatha will bring her back for a cameo appearance.

The initial episodes of Agatha All Along silently suggest one haunting conclusion: ‘Wanda is dead.’ Although her appearance isn’t shown, her death is alluded to multiple times. Early scenes depict Agatha living a fabricated life as detective Agnes when she stumbles upon a corpse with blackened nails. Later, she encounters a body draped in a white sheet, and upon investigating, a piece of paper with Wanda Maximoff’s name appears, leaving her confounded about her identity, leading to a moment of clarity when Rio Vidal arrives to help.

Rio Vidal, known as the Green Witch, informs Agatha that the deceased is Wanda Maximoff, otherwise known as the Scarlet Witch, and confirms her demise along with the Darkhold. Rio aids Agatha in uncovering her true self and embracing the powerful witch within.

Marvel has continually surprised its audience with unexpected twists, so it’s plausible that the upcoming series could see the return of Wanda Maximoff!

Goth Teen was significant in freeing Agatha from Wanda’s control during her interrogation. Throughout various encounters, Goth Teen attempts to introduce himself, but something bizarre happens each time he tries to speak: first, his mouth is magically sealed, rendering him silent, and on another occasion, his voice is muted, leading to missed introductions.

Fan theories speculate that this Teen is actually Billy Maximoff, one of Wanda’s fictional sons. While the concept seems far-fetched, within the realm of witchcraft, the impossible often becomes reality. If the theory holds true, the Teen could be seeking Agatha’s assistance in resurrecting his mother.

He mentions that the Witches’ Road may offer Agatha a way to regain her lost powers, hinting that he seeks to restore his mother to life, demanding Agatha’s expertise in witchcraft.

Wanda Maximoff Can Make Cameo Appearances

As of now, the creators of the series have not provided clarity about Goth Teen’s true identity or confirmed whether Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff in Agatha All Along. Given that Wanda’s fate remains uncertain, it is reasonable to speculate that even if the series does not bring her back to life, she could still make appearances in flashbacks.
