BTS’s V, known as Kim Taehyung, recently posted a mysterious story on his personal Instagram account concerning firearms during his military service, capturing the attention of fans online. On September 15, V referenced two types of equipment: a K1 rifle and a K5 pistol, while sharing images of himself in his Instagram stories.

As reported by The Chosun Ilbo, the K1 is a submachine gun manufactured domestically in South Korea, primarily used as the main firearm by the Army Special Forces. Additionally, the K5 is a pistol also developed in South Korea, which is typically assigned to higher-ranking officials such as colonels, military police, chief sergeants, and members of special forces.

Importantly, these firearms are allotted to military personnel holding significant ranks.
