More than a year after the release of Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG Starfield, its inaugural paid expansion, Shattered Space, is now available for PC and Xbox Series X/S. Priced at $29.99, this new chapter invites players to journey to Va’ruun’kai, where a disastrous grav drive experiment has led to a catastrophic situation. Set against the backdrop of the Scaled Citadel, now surrounded by enigmatic energy, players will face numerous challenges, including the disappearance of Anasko Va’ruun. With over 50 new locations to explore, players will traverse the planet’s surface, interact with different factions, and battle the terrifying Void Horrors. The trailer hints at a greater presence lurking in the shadows, potentially on the other side.
Starfield: Shattered Space comes packed with new weapons, Gravity Anomalies, armor sets, and side quests, significantly enriching the gameplay experience. Unlike the procedurally generated Settled Systems, Va’ruun’kai offers a meticulously crafted environment for players to discover.
