Despite the disappointing defeat to NIP Flash, EVIL maintained the second position in the league table, achieving their highest-ever standing in the history of MPL Singapore’s Regular Season. Jankurt “KurtTzy”Matira, the Mid Laner for NIP Flash, lauded EVIL’s performance by stating:

“We have prepared a lot to go up against them, especially their imports, because they [EVIL] have played very well in the tournament so far.”

Although EVIL won only one of their three matches this week, they successfully qualified for the upper bracket.

RSG SG struggled initially in MPL Singapore Season 8 but finally turned their fortunes around in Week 3, notching up two important wins that lifted them out of the relegation threat. They triumphed against BLEED on the first day and followed up with a 2-0 victory over HomeBois SG.
