Official Announcement of Pokemon GO Gigantamax Feature Launch

Prepare yourself, Pokemon GO enthusiasts, as Gigantamax Pokemon are set to make their much-anticipated debut! It’s been just over a month since trainers encountered Dynamax variants, and an announcement from Niantic has revealed that to defeat Gigantamax Pokemon in Max Battles, teams of 10 to 40 trainers will be essential.

This exciting news was unveiled in a brief trailer released on October 15.

The Ultimate Challenge: Gigantamax Max Battles

During the upcoming GO Bigger event scheduled from October 26 to 27, 2024, players can expect to see the arrival of Gigantamax Venusaur, Gigantamax Charizard, and Gigantamax Blastoise. These Gigantamax creatures will be available in Power Spots throughout the game.

Each Gigantamaxed Pokémon showcases a distinctive G-Max Move, which could potentially differ in type from its Fast Attack. The trailer also highlighted other notable Pokemon such as Orbeetle, Toxtricity, Alcremie, and Kingler.

Making its debut in the eighth generation of Pokemon games, Gigantamax serves as a unique variation of Dynamaxing. Currently, this feature is available for 32 different Pokemon in the main series. Below is a list of the creatures along with their corresponding G-Max Moves:
