Understanding the Source Material of The Apothecary Diaries
The story originated as a serialization on Shosetsuka ni Naro back in 2011. Although it maintained a loyal fan base, the anime adaptation was what truly propelled its popularity into the mainstream.

The adaptation’s announcement came in 2019, confirming a total of 24 episodes for the first season. The series quickly garnered attention and praise, achieving an impressive rating of 8.89 on MyAnimeList. It is no surprise, then, that the studio was eager to greenlight a second season shortly thereafter.
Return of Original Cast and Production Team
Given the favorable reception of The Apothecary Diaries, it stands to reason that the original cast and crew may return for the next installment. If this happens, fans can look forward to hearing the following voice actors:
