Fans of ‘Agatha All Along’ Question Wanda Maximoff After Major Revelation

Wanda must be feeling incredibly foolish at this moment, assuming she’s still around. (Fingers crossed she isn’t permanently gone!). The sixth episode of *Agatha All Along*, titled “Familiar by Thy Side,” shows that Wanda had been searching for her children in the wrong places—significantly wrong.

You know that panicked sensation when you misplace your phone, turning your home upside down in search of it, only to find it lurking in your pocket? I imagine Wanda feels that embarrassment multiplied exponentially right now. As the Scarlet Witch, she has traversed the multiverse in a fervent search for her sons, leaving chaos in her wake. However, episode 6 of *Agatha All Along* disclosed that her son Billy was actually just one town over from Westview all along. Oops!

In this episode, the spotlight is on Billy Maximoff, Wanda’s psychic child, and his twin brother Tommy, illustrating how he inhabits the body of a teenager named William Kaplan. The narrative kicks off with William celebrating his bar mitzvah, surrounded by friends and a loving family. Yet, an encounter with a palm reader (the enchanting Lilia Calderu!) hints at impending changes in his life. This bar mitzvah takes place in Eastview, a neighboring town to Westview, perfectly coinciding with the conclusion of *WandaVision*.

After the celebration, William and his parents leave, only to witness Wanda’s Hex retracting from their car. Distracted, the car swerves off the road, leading to a crash that seemingly claims William’s life. In that pivotal moment, Billy’s spirit clings to William’s body, resulting in William awakening in a confused state, grappling with amnesia.

He was just around the corner!

This revelation leaves fans cringing on behalf of Wanda. Despite wielding immense power, be it in the universe or the multiverse, she remained oblivious to the fact that her son was just a handful of miles away. Yet, it isn’t entirely her fault. Just before William’s tragic incident and Billy’s … disappearance (would that be the right term?), Lilia Calderu placed a protective sigil on William’s body, rendering him undetectable, even to someone with Wanda’s formidable abilities.

As it stands now, Wanda Maximoff has seemingly met her demise after sealing herself within a mountain temple. Despite this, fans are still hopeful that this isn’t the finale of her character arc, yearning for a heartfelt reunion between her and Billy before *Agatha All Along* concludes.
