Details Revealed for Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour on October 29

Details regarding the Spotlight Hour for Pokemon GO on October 29 were initially confidential, as Niantic unveiled the infographic for the month. Throughout October 2024, trainers have already encountered several Pokémon in the weekly Spotlight Hour events, featuring Pidove, Galarian Slowpoke, Shroomish, Gastly, Duskull, and Litwick.

Now, the identities of the Pokémon trainers will meet at next week’s event have been disclosed.

Upcoming Spotlight Hour Pokémon in Pokemon GO (October 29)

On October 29, trainers can look forward to encountering Rowlet dressed in a Halloween costume and Froakie sporting a witch’s hat during the Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO. This exciting update was shared by the Pokemon GO Korea Twitter account. Participants will also benefit from a 2x Catch Candy bonus during the event.

Froakie, a Water-type starter from Generation VI, evolves into Frogadier and ultimately into Greninja. In contrast, Rowlet hails from Generation VII and is a dual-type Grass and Flying Pokémon, evolving into Dartrix and later into Decidueye.

While trainers are currently enjoying the Halloween 2024 Part 1 event, preparations are underway for Part 2, which kicks off on October 28 and extends until November 3. Additionally, Darkrai and Mega Banette will be featured in raids starting on that same date, with Darkrai’s shiny form making its debut in Pokemon GO.
