Harry Styles Set for Glastonbury Festival Comeback as Headliner in 2024

Harry Styles has been reported as the next headliner for the Glastonbury music festival, which is set to take place in 2025. These exciting details were revealed in The Sun’s publication dated September 14, 2024.

According to the news outlet, Styles is being considered by the chief organizer, Emily Eavis, for a performance on the iconic Pyramid stage at Worthy Farm. The Sun further reported that, although Styles has not yet performed at the festival, an insider mentioned, “he would be their dream booking”:

“Harry would be the perfect Glastonbury headliner, and Emily has long wanted him on stage at Worthy Farm, but the dates have never quite worked out.”

It is important to note that this performance has yet to be confirmed by Harry Styles and his team.

Harry Styles Set for a Major Comeback in 2025 with Glastonbury Appearance and New Album

In March 2024, the Daily Mail UK reported that the 30-year-old pop star was in the studio working on a new album, which is said to be his “most emotional one yet.” The publication noted that Styles was spotted exiting Rak music studios in St. John’s Wood, where he had been “hard at work on his new project.”

It appears that 2025 will be a bustling year for Styles as an insider from The Sun explained that it would be an ideal time for him to perform at Glastonbury, especially since the festival will have a fallow year in 2026. Therefore, securing Harry for next year would be perfect.

Nonetheless, it has been reported that Harry’s potential Glastonbury performance still requires a decision from him and his team:

“It is something the team at Glastonbury are pushing for. Whether that dream will come true, however, is still to be decided by Harry’s team.”

Speculations regarding Harry Styles’ comeback year in 2025 follow the successful conclusion of his Love On Tour, which began on September 4, 2021, and wrapped up on July 22, 2023.

This highly successful world tour supported his second and third studio albums, Fine Line and Harry’s House. The tour spanned seven legs, starting in Las Vegas, Nevada, and concluding in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

The Love On Tour grossed over $617 million and sold more than 5 million tickets, marking it as the fifth highest-grossing tour of 2022 and one of the most lucrative tours in history, according to a July 2023 report by Billboard.

The tour was also recognized with numerous awards, including Pollstar Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and People’s Choice Awards.

Harry Styles’ latest album, Harry’s House, released in May 2022, was a commercial and critical triumph. It recorded the highest first-week sales of Harry’s career and debuted at the top of both the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200.

The album earned Styles several Grammy Awards in 2023, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-classical. Furthermore, Harry’s House won the Brit Award for British Album of the Year in 2023.

On September 13, Harry Styles was seen at London Fashion Week, seated in the front row for S. S. Daley alongside other celebrities such as Anna Wintour, his My Policeman co-star Emma Corrin, Cate Blanchett, and Sebastian Croft, among others.
