Complete Guide to Ancient Heroes of Natlan in Genshin Impact

The latest addition of the Natlan region in Genshin Impact has unveiled an exciting new chapter of Archon Quests. As players delve into Act 1 and Act 2, they uncover the severe challenges facing Natlan in its ongoing fight against the Abyss, alongside insights into the Pyro Archon Mavuika’s strategies to combat it.

Concluding Act 2, titled “Black Stone Under a White Stone,”Mavuika reveals that she is the Pyro Archon from 500 years ago, who made a sacrifice to the Sacred Flame and has been resurrected as part of a larger plan. She states that by her awakening, the six tribes of Natlan and their Wayob were expected to have achieved their utmost potential. Additionally, the Wayob were to select six heroes of Natlan to support the Pyro Archon in executing this plan.

However, as detailed in the Archon Quest, only four ancient heroes have emerged thus far, and merely three are present in the storyline. The identities of the remaining heroes remain unknown.

1) Original

Mualani is a 5-star Hydro character hailing from the People of the Springs. As a formidable warrior, she has a history of participating in the Night Warden wars. Mualani’s ancient name is “Umoja,”signifying Unity.

During Act 2 of the Natlan Archon Quest, Mualani meets an NPC named Tupac the Giant, who carried her ancient name 500 years ago. He awakens Mualani as a hero and shares memories related to Mavuika’s plan.

2) Kinich

Kinich is a 5-star Dendro character and a Saurian Hunter from the Scions of the Canopy. Regarded as one of Natlan’s most powerful champions, he is ready for any challenge, provided the rewards are worthwhile. His ancient name is “Malipo,”meaning Turnfire.

According to the Archon Quest, Kinich was already aware of his status as one of the six chosen heroes prior to the announcement in Act 2.

3) Iansan

Iansan is the first character teased from Natlan and belongs to the Collective of Plenty tribe. In the storyline, she wields the Electro element and is among the six heroes destined to join forces with the Pyro Archon against the Abyss.

4) Xilonen

Xilonen is the fourth and final known ancient hero. A smith from the Children of Echoes tribe, she possesses a Geo vision. Although her character has not yet been featured prominently in the storyline, she is anticipated to be introduced in the forthcoming version 5.1 of Genshin Impact.

Currently, only two of the six heroes remain unawakened. Although Mavuika does not reveal their identities, she asserts her knowledge of who they are.

Speculations suggest that the Anemo character, Chasca, might represent the hero of the Flower-Feather Clan. Meanwhile, Citlali, who has been referenced in dialogues, could be the chosen warrior from the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe.
