Noteworthy cards such as Black Swan and Hell Cow received the new Activate ability, a feature that was initially unveiled during the Spider-Season earlier this month.

Prominent cards Black Swan and Hell Cow have now been revamped to feature the Activate ability, replacing their previous On Reveal mechanic. This new ability can be activated by pressing and holding the card, allowing players to utilize them as pivotal strategic resources during gameplay.

In the wake of previous balance adjustments on September 12, 2024, the developers have made further tweaks to multiple cards in order to enhance the game’s meta:

Black Swan: Besides receiving the Activate ability, the cost and power of the Black Swan card have been adjusted from 3/5 to 2/3, making it more accessible during matches.
Hell Cow: Like Black Swan, Hell Cow has undergone stat modifications alongside the mechanic upgrade. Her power has been decreased from 8 to 6 to curb her overwhelming effectiveness in discard decks.
Sword Master: No changes have been made to the cost or power of Sword Master; however, its effect has been refined to specifically target odd-cost cards, facilitating new synergies and streamlining the discard process.

Updates to Gold Offers in the Marvel Snap Update

In addition, Nuverse is revamping the game’s economy by modifying Gold offers within the Webshop. The Bonus Double Gold promotions will be discontinued 30 days following this patch, due to their unintended impacts on the in-game economy. The development team is committed to launching new, balanced offers that encourage long-term sustainability for players.

While new players won’t have access to the discontinued offers, they can anticipate exciting refreshed deals in the near future.

Bug Fixes and Quality-of-Life Improvements in the Latest Marvel Snap Update

The latest Marvel Snap update has introduced several patch fixes:

Fixes for Card and Location Logic: Mystique’s ability now correctly interacts with hidden effects, such as those of Invisible Woman. Additionally, a bug that hindered players from retreating during Turn 6 when Mount Vesuvius was destroyed or disabled has been resolved. Infinite looping issues with Forge under certain conditions have also been addressed.
Visual and Animation Enhancements: Visual effects (VFX) for various troops and locations, including The Ice Box, Fisk Tower, and Cannonball, have seen improvement. Silver Samurai’s base art will now retain its split background upon upgrading to Frame Break.
Performance Enhancements: Addressed various performance issues and resolved Aw Snap errors related to asset exceptions. The infinity split button now correctly disables when all splits are unlocked. Text and volume inconsistencies in different languages have been rectified to enhance clarity for players worldwide.
Alliance and PC-Specific Fixes: Players are now able to search for Alliances even if they do not meet the requirements. Additionally, issues with card backgrounds not displaying correctly in the carousel have been fixed, along with performance updates aimed at improving stability on PC.
