“Agatha All Along” Captivates Audiences Online: Fans Declare It Superior to WandaVision

Agatha All Along, the highly anticipated miniseries featuring Marvel Comics’ Agatha Harkness, made its debut on September 18, 2024, with the release of its first two episodes. This show serves as a spinoff from the popular WandaVision within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The excitement surrounding the launch of Agatha All Along has been palpable among Marvel enthusiasts ever since its announcement during a Disney Plus event in November 2021. The initial episodes have received positive feedback from many viewers, though some critiques have also emerged.

Audience reactions were sparked following an X post from Scarlet Witch Updates, which raised questions regarding the series’ premiere, prompting numerous fans to share their thoughts on the platform.

IT’S BETTER THAN WANDAVISION GUYSZ WHAT THE HELLLLL,” commented a fan on an X post.

Marvel jumped into their creative bag. It had me glued to the screen so hyped,” wrote another fan.

As a derivative work, fans were eager for Agatha All Along to honor WandaVision, resulting in some initial skepticism about its performance.

I was skeptical at first on how they were going to approach it, but the first episode was good. Then when I saw the second episode I was 100% all in and ready for more,” wrote a fan.

Episode 1 – 5/10 felt really jumpy, Episode 2 – 8/10 really enjoyed but still feels like something is missing,” wrote another fan.

Some viewers expressed disappointment with the two episodes, questioning their worth, and shared opinions about the character introduced in the series, portrayed by Joe Locke.

They really made two episodes of nothing.. 5/10,” wrote a fan

People are gonna call it Woke because of Joe’s character. He’s gay in real life and probably doesn’t want to portray a straight character and that’s completely fine. It’s his career,” wrote a fan.
