‘Agatha All Along’ Confirms Major Character Death: ‘I’m Still in Denial’

**Warning: Spoilers for Agatha All Along**

In Agatha All Along, the body count is rising rapidly, starting with Mrs. Hart and culminating in the heartbreaking fate of Alice in the latest episode. Alas, dear Alice, your departure came too soon. Yet, amidst this chaos, one character’s fate remains uncertain.

While Agatha All Along has its playful moments, featuring witches on broomsticks and snappy characters donning funky ’70s attire as they emancipate themselves from generational curses, it also delves into darker themes. Alice’s tragic end in the most recent episode came as a shocking twist that left many fans heartbroken. How could you take a character’s life just as she conquers her familial struggles, Marvel? The episode was not only about Alice; it hinted at another character’s fate as well.

The series established early on that Agatha had a son named Nicholas Scratch. During her time in the mind prison while playing a gritty detective role, Agatha, or Agnes in this narrative, had a room dedicated to her son. It was later revealed that this son was not merely a fabrication for the story; he was indeed real, though he seems to be absent now.

In the third episode, Jen takes Teen aside to caution him against putting his trust in Agatha, sharing the rumor that Agatha had traded her son for the powerful Book of the Damned, known as The Darkhold. This notion gains some credence when Agatha experiences a hallucination featuring a crib that is empty, replaced instead by The Darkhold. This narrative is likely to have various layers yet to be fully uncovered.

Many fans speculated for a moment that Teen might actually be Nicholas, but Rio dashed those hopes when she told Agatha, “That boy isn’t yours.” By the conclusion of episode five, it became clear whose son Teen really is, but prior to that revelation, there were hints of Teen’s true identity. While the witches were using the Ouija board to commune with spirits, not only did Agatha’s mother show up. As Agatha drained Alice’s powers, another spirit’s presence was felt.

Through the Ouija board, a voice claiming to be Nicholas Scratch emerged, a young boy’s cries of “Momma! Stop!” echoed hauntingly. If the spirits summoned through the Ouija board are indeed deceased, does this imply that Nicholas is really gone? Has it been confirmed that he might have passed away long ago? It will be intriguing to see if he reappears. Perhaps, should Agatha complete her journey, her deepest yearning will not only involve regaining her powers but also reuniting with her son.
