“Andy Needs to Go” — Madelyn and Rachel from The Circle Avoid Elimination

Part 2 of The Circle Season 7, which includes episodes 5 to 8, premiered on Netflix on September 18.

In episode 4, the contestants Rachel and Madelyn activated the disruptor mode and switched their identities anonymously. This savvy move meant that if the houseguests voted to eliminate one of them, the other would face the repercussions. Therefore, they had to not only ensure their own safety but also protect the persona they were portraying to stay in the game.

Debbie, masquerading as Rachel and Madelyn, indicated that Heather (who was catfishing as Andy) was high on many players’ radars. She decided to encourage her fellow contestants to cast their votes against him. During a private conversation with Rachel, Madelyn, known as Andy’s #CircleWife, pointedly stated:

“This might come as a shock but Andy needs to go”.

What strategy did Rachel and Madelyn employ to have Andy blocked in The Circle Season 7, Episode 6?

Among all contestants, Andy and Rachel found themselves on many players’ suspicion lists. However, Rachel maintained stronger alliances, while Andy mistakenly believed he was well-protected. If not for the disruptor mode and the need to save Rachel at any cost, Madelyn would not have considered targeting Andy.

In their private conversation in episode 6, she urged Debbie (now impersonating Madelyn) to pursue Andy. Debbie agreed, mentioning she could enlist her best ally on The Circle, Gianna, to join the effort since she also wanted to see Andy eliminated for having mock-blocked The Scarlotta Twins, who were disguised as Gianna, in the first episode.

After finalizing their strategy, the two disruptors invited Gianna to join their private chat. They presented their plan to her, and Gianna agreed to help get Andy out as well. The twins expressed that both Kevin and Andy were on their eviction radar but were willing to prioritize Andy first.

Later in the episode, Debbie initiated a private chat with newcomer Tierra, who was catfishing as Antonio. She informed Tierra about their #GirlSquad alliance and their intent to target Andy. Tierra agreed to join their crusade, bolstering their collective strength against Andy.

On the flip side, Andy believed he could rely on Madelyn for top ratings, considering her his #CircleWifey. Unbeknownst to him, she was at the heart of the plot against him. He also felt secure in his boy alliance with Darian and Kevin and sought reassurance from Darian.

In a conversation with Darian, Andy shared his insecurities and fears of elimination that round. Darian provided reassurance, promising to back him up. However, Darian’s supportive vote wasn’t enough to save Andy, as Jadejha (Darian’s #CircleWife) ranked higher than Andy.

With a majority of the contestants united in their plot to evict Andy and no solid alliances on his side, he was ultimately blocked from The Circle. Madelyn emerged as the highest-rated contestant, with Rachel following in second place.
