Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Guide – Steps to Obtain Storefront

Building friendships with animal characters is crucial for success in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. By reaching levels 10 or 15, depending on the specific animal, players can take on Special Requests, which unlock unique furniture crafting opportunities. One such item is the Storefront, which you can only acquire after establishing a bond with Avery.

Unlock Level for Avery

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Avery

To unlock Avery, a character in Pocket Camp Complete, you need to achieve level 45. He can be unlocked randomly between levels 45 and 71. In the initial levels (45-52), you’ll encounter two animals, while in subsequent levels (53-71), it will be one animal at a time.

Upon reaching level 45, be aware that the animals you’ll unlock during that range are chosen at random. If Avery doesn’t appear early in your leveling up, continue progressing until level 71 to enhance your chances.

After satisfying the level requirement, locate Avery on the map. If he’s absent, use a Calling Card by following these steps:

  1. Access your Contacts (by clicking the icon above your planner) and search for Avery’s icon located in the Eagle tab.
  2. Select Avery and then tap the Call option.

It’s important to note that Avery can only be invited to your campsite once his friendship level reaches 7. You’ll also need to craft specific items to facilitate this process:

Bells Materials Craft Time
Wheat Bundle 810 Bells x30 Wood
5 hours
Watering Trough 950 Bells x30 Wood
4 hours
Tiki Torch 980 Bells x30 Steel 4 hours
Covered Wagon 2120 Bells x3 Rustic Essence 9 hours

x60 Wood
Pantheon Post 2250 Bells x3 Rustic Essence 8 hours

Quick Leveling Tips for Avery

Once Avery is able to visit your campsite or cabin, your next objective is to boost his friendship level to 15. Achieving this rank allows you to accept a Special Request from him, which in turn unlocks the Storefront crafting recipe necessary for completing the request.

Raising friendship levels may require significant effort, but you can streamline the process by giving Avery snacks. His preference adheres to the Rustic theme; thus, he enjoys Plain Cookies, Tasty Cookies, and Gourmet Cookies. Providing themed snacks yields more friendship points compared to generic ones.

Additionally, you can present him with Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats. Unlike themed snacks, Treats are considered generic, and they offer a consistent number of friendship points regardless of the animal. Specifically, Bronze treats provide 3 points, Silver offers 10 points, and Gold gives 25 points. As a tip, just 10 Gold Treats can elevate an animal’s level from 1 to 15.

Complete any requests Avery presents while he’s on the map or at your campsite. If you encounter him as one of the animals wanting to engage with you (a shift occurs every 3 hours), interacting can yield +6 friendship points.

Another effective method for enhancing your friendship is to designate him as your Camp Caretaker. Camp Caretakers gather items and often present you gifts, granting you between 5-15 friendship points upon interacting with them after they accomplish a task.

Materials for Crafting Storefront

The Storefront, as a Special Request item, requires 18 hours to craft and demands 9870 Bells. The required materials include:

  • x2 Sparkle Stones
  • x4 Rustic Essence
  • x150 Wood

If you’re having difficulty gathering these materials, consider inviting animals that can provide the necessary crafting components to your campsite. For Rustic Essence, focus on inviting Rustic-themed animals; for Wood, include animals that are known for giving Wood, such as Hamsters. When these animals give you gifts, you are likely to receive both crafting materials and some essence.
