Are You Sure?! Episode 8 Recap & Highlights: BTS’ Jungkook & Jimin’s Memorable Last Night in Sapporo Before Enlistment

The travel and food show Are You Sure?!, featuring BTS members Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook, kicked off in America, journeyed to Jeju Island, and wrapped up in Sapporo, Japan. The finale showcased Jimin and Jungkook indulging in the delicacies of a renowned Hokkaido restaurant, sampling traditional Japanese lamb and “wagyu”paired with refreshing draft beer.

In a lighthearted moment, Jimin amusingly unbuttoned his trousers to relieve discomfort from overeating, prompting Jungkook to tease him playfully. They made a brief stop at a convenience store to pick up late-night snacks and additional beers. Throughout the episode, Jimin and Jungkook reminisced about their filming experiences from July to November 2023, while also considering their upcoming military enlistment.

In Are You Sure?! episode 8, Jimin and Jungkook shared late-night fun while relaxing in a jacuzzi. The duo braved the chilly breeze and hot water as they attempted to enter the tub together.

As the night progressed, the crew joined the BTS stars for drinks to celebrate the end of season 1. The filming crew then presented them with the first edited episode of the series.

Jimin and Jungkook eagerly settled on the couch to view the episode, reliving their New York adventure and laughing at their own antics. They were informed that Jungkook’s voice data was missing because he had fallen into the lake while kayaking in episode 1, leading to some hilarious commentary as they watched. Jimin’s humorous reaction to a burger in the episode sparked more laughter between them.

The episode then captured Jungkook playfully calling Jimin a jerk for abandoning him post the lake incident during their California kayaking trip. Jimin rose from the couch to prepare drinks and snacks for everyone, with Jungkook joining in to help whip up an impromptu snack.

The duo continued watching the first episode with their crew, further stimulating laughter. The next morning, Jimin and Jungkook dressed up and headed to a restaurant for breakfast, opting for sushi. They reflected on enlisting together, highlighting that in two years, they would reunite with their fans, the BTS ARMY.

BTS member Taehyung also joined them as a special guest during their Jeju Island adventures in Are You Sure?! In episodes 3 to 5, the trio explored the scenic South Korean island, went fishing, and tasted various cuisines, including a visit to an Omakase restaurant.
