Ari Graynor as Leslie Abramson in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story
Ari Graynor’s latest role features her as defense attorney Leslie Abramson in Netflix’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Abramson defended Lyle and Erik after they were accused of murdering their parents.
The defense argued that the brothers were driven to commit these acts due to severe physical, emotional, and sexual abuse inflicted upon them by their parents. Conversely, the prosecution claimed that the murders were fueled by greed, as the brothers sought to inherit their family’s estate.
In addition to her work defending the Menendez brothers, Abramson is a published author; her book, The Defense Is Ready: Life in the Trenches of Criminal Law, provides insights into her career. She also represented Phil Spector briefly during his trial for the murder of Lana Clarkson.
Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is currently available for streaming on Netflix in all regions.
