505 Games and KUNOS Simulazioni have officially announced that Assetto Corsa EVO will be available on PC via Steam Early Access starting January 16th, 2025. You can watch the latest trailer below, showcasing stunning panning shots of the game’s vehicles and new gameplay mechanics.
While the developer has yet to detail all features included in early access, Assetto Corsa EVO promises a diverse lineup of vehicles, such as hypercars, classic cars, race cars, and more. Described as a “major leap” for the Assetto Corsa franchise, the game will introduce several new features, including a comprehensive 24-hour race cycle, dynamic weather and track conditions, and “cutting-edge” lighting technology. Additionally, PC-specific features will support multiple monitor setups and virtual reality (VR) integration.
In a recent press release, KUNOS Simulazioni co-founder and executive manager Marco Massarutto stated, “We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting news on the launch of Assetto Corsa EVO, and trust us – we’ve been diligently working to ensure everything meets our high standards.
“Our objective is to deliver the quality that all sim racing enthusiasts rightfully expect from a title like Assetto Corsa EVO. We are genuinely grateful for the ongoing and extraordinary support from our community. We look forward to sharing more exciting updates on the project soon!”
Although Assetto Corsa EVO will initially launch on PC, there is potential for a console release in the future. Its predecessor, Assetto Corsa Competizione, first launched on PC in 2019 before being released on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
