The latest title on PS5, Astro Bot, features numerous beloved characters from various gaming franchises. Not only does it include references to Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima, but it also has a dedicated level that celebrates the iconic God of War series. After crash-landing on an unfamiliar planet, players are challenged to collect bots and solve puzzles across different galactic worlds to advance in the game.

Named cleverly as ‘Bot of War‘, this level is part of The Tentacle System, which unlocks after you conquer the Wako Tako level. Below is a comprehensive guide and walkthrough to assist you in collecting all the bots and puzzle pieces in this level.

Astro Bot Bot Of War Walkthrough

Bot 1 – Angrboda

As you begin the Astro Bot Bot of War level, you’ll receive a special weapon, the Leviathan Axe, famously used by Kratos in God of War. After obtaining it, head right through the large door and navigate the gap in the rocks to discover the first bot.

Bot 2 – Thrud

Engage the enemies to the left of a block of ice. Break the ice to reveal a trampoline that allows you to reach the giant robot. Defeat this enemy to acquire the second bot.

Find the large chest located next to the giant robot. Open it to collect the first puzzle piece of Bot of War.

Bot 3 – Freya

Another prominent character from God of War is the goddess Freya. To obtain her bot, seek out Chaurli, the tortoise. Flip him over to reveal the third bot.

Bot 4 – Thor

Move to the left and locate a substantial block of ice. Smash it to unveil the Lake of Nine horn. Blowing into this horn will summon the World Serpent. Head to the top of the rocks on the left to find Thor’s bot.

Bot 5 – Mimir

Spot a crow resting on a block of ice. Get a trampoline by breaking the ice and destroy the panels. Head to Niflheim’s Ravel Tree, where you will find Mimir’s bot carried by Odin’s Ravens to collect the fifth bot.

In the vicinity where Mimir’s bot is located, check behind the tree to find the second puzzle piece.

Stick 6 – Brok

Find the snowman of Kratos and Atreus. Lower the bridge by throwing the axe, just as Kratos would do in God of War. Eliminate the enemies to acquire Brok’s bot.

Throw the giant hammer to locate a spinning flower. Attack the flower to unveil the final puzzle piece of Bot of War.

Bot 7 – Sindri

Ascend the steps ahead and climb the elevated platform. Jump across to the other side, open the chest, and collect the final bot.
