Astro Bot’s Trunk of Funk stage is packed with excitement, featuring seven Bots to rescue and three hidden Puzzle Pieces to uncover. This comprehensive guide is designed to assist you in locating these treasures, bringing you closer to achieving the prestigious Platinum Trophy in Astro Bot.
Astro Bot – Puzzle Piece 1
As soon as Trunk of Funk begins, you will find yourself flying the ship. After navigating past two coin boxes, keep an eye on the right side for a cave where a puzzle piece awaits at its end. If you miss it, simply restart the level for another chance.
Astro Bot – Bot 1
Locate the large, dehydrated plant – just behind it, a Bot can be seen riding a deer. Approach and give it a smack to successfully rescue it.
Astro Bot – Bot 2
Proceed along the path until you encounter a large pink mushroom. Watch out for the drilling mole enemy nearby, defeat it, and then rescue the Bot atop the mushroom.
Astro Bot – Puzzle Piece 2
On the right side of a tree, a mole with a golf ball can be found. Aim accurately and hit the ball into the goal hole located nearby; doing so will reveal the puzzle piece. If you miss it, the mole will respawn with a new ball, allowing for another attempt.
Astro Bot – Bot 3
After exiting the giant tree and activating a checkpoint, look to the right for a lone purple blob on a distant platform. Use your platform-growing costume to bridge the gap. Behind the creature, you will find a Bot trapped in a bird’s egg nestled within a nest.
Astro Bot – Bot 4
At a checkpoint marked by a giant smiley balloon, turn around and search for higher platforms that lead to a hidden nest. Pull the string underneath to uncover the hidden Bot.
Astro Bot – Bot 5
Moving past the smiley balloon, a trail of coins will lead you to a distant platform where the Bot awaits. Ignore the coins for now; instead, ascend to the upper platform and navigate past the purple goop monster. Activate the checkpoint, draw in the ooze from the large-hearted caterpillar, and soar to reach the Bot using your magic platforms.
Astro Bot – Bot 6
Instead of heading right towards the heart-eyed caterpillar, veer left to discover a hidden area. Use the haptic feedback from your PS5 controller to detect the correct block push to reveal the Spirit Guide Bot, which draws inspiration from Kena.
Astro Bot – Puzzle Piece 3
After you traverse through the honeycomb section, look for a massive plant located in front of another smiley balloon. Utilize the honey pad to gain altitude, defeat the plant, and you’ll discover a puzzle piece encased in honey. Collect it for your growing collection.
Astro Bot – Bot 7
As you approach a wall with a zipper, you’ll encounter two enemies that contain a liquid you need to absorb. Take them out after they toss their projectiles, unzip the wall, and enter the newfound area. Move left to locate another Bot waiting on a honey pad.
