While stories based on Greek mythology often center around the well-known 12 Olympians, which has become somewhat predictable, Honkai: Star Rail appears to be taking a refreshing approach in the Amphoreus arc. Initial teasers suggest that the game will break away from these traditional narratives and offer players an original experience that emphasizes deeper worldbuilding and lesser-known figures.

Instead, their essence is captured through the Chrysos Heirs, who are destined to harness the Coreflames and restore light to a ravaged world. This aspect of the storyline draws parallels with Genshin Impact, where the Archons similarly have successors managing Teyvat’s territories.
