Black Myth Wukong: Guide to Unlocking the Journeyer’s Chart and Understanding Its Functionality

Black Myth: Wukong has recently introduced its update version 1.0.12.16581, which brings a host of exciting new features, including formidable Boss Refights and intense Boss Rush Challenges. However, for players who take pride in exploring every nook and cranny, the highlight of this update is undoubtedly the addition of Journeyer’s Charts. These vital tools grant the Destined One a comprehensive map detailing the areas they traverse, with a total of six charts available throughout the game.

Securing all six of Black Myth: Wukong’s Journeyer’s Charts significantly enhances navigation, making it easier to identify overlooked locations. This update presents an ideal opportunity for new players to dive into the game, while also giving seasoned ones a chance to experience New Game Plus (NG+) mode and gather any missed content.

How to Acquire a Journeyer’s Chart

Your journey begins at a Keeper Shrine located in the game’s initial region, the Black Wind Mountain. Upon visiting this shrine, you will automatically unlock the corresponding Journeyer’s Chart, providing a detailed view of Keeper Shrines you’ve previously discovered. While the first chart is complimentary, additional charts will require you to spend some Will.

As you progress to new chapters, your mission will be to locate a Keeper Shrine to purchase the Journeyer’s Chart for that specific area. It’s crucial to note that charts from Chapter 3 onward become increasingly vital due to the expansive and challenging landscapes you will encounter. For instance, Chapter 6 features particularly vast areas that can be complex to explore fully, while the intricate underground pathways of Chapter 4 greatly benefit from having a Journeyer’s Chart.

Each Journeyer’s Chart is a beautifully designed representation of its respective area, marking the position of the Destined One along with any previously visited Keeper Shrines. With a total of six charts to collect, one for each chapter, these maps aid in achieving complete exploration throughout the game.
