BTS Jimin’s Hit Song “Who” Dominates UK Official Singles Chart for Nine Consecutive Weeks

On September 21, 2024, the South Korean media outlet OSEN reported that BTS’ Jimin’s title track, WHO, from his second solo album Muse, has maintained its position on the UK Official Singles chart for an impressive nine consecutive weeks, now ranking at number 50, having risen two places since its release. Jimin has shattered his own previous records, with WHO becoming the longest-charting solo track on this chart.

For those unaware, Muse was launched on July 19, 2024, under BigHit Music, with distribution handled by YG Plus and HYBE. The album has been released in four different formats, including CD, QR, downloadable formats, and streaming options. The physical album is sold in three versions: Blooming, Serenade, and Weverse Album (QR).

The album features seven tracks: Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), Slow Dance, Be Mine, Who, and Closer Than This.

BTS’ Jimin’s WHO Continues to Rank High on Single Downloads and Sales Charts

BTS’ Jimin’s title track, WHO, remains a strong contender on the UK Official Singles Downloads and Sales charts, currently sitting at ranks No. 24 and No. 25, respectively. Moreover, the track has also made its mark on the audio streaming and streaming charts, ranking at No. 48 and No. 53. Notably, WHO ascended 15 and 17 positions on the audio streaming and streaming charts compared to the previous week.

In addition, WHO achieved the fourth position on Spotify’s Weekly Top Song Global chart during the period of September 13 to 19, as of September 20, 2024. The track maintained its fourth position on the Daily Top Song Global chart on September 19, 2024, marking an impressive 63 days in the top 10.

Significantly, WHO has become the first and only song by a Korean or K-pop artist to remain in the Top 10 on the Spotify Daily Top Songs USA chart for 60 consecutive days as of September 19, 2024. The song also achieved the number one spot on the Circle Global K-pop chart for eight consecutive weeks, ending on September 19, 2024.

Upon its release, Jimin’s Muse secured the No. 1 position on the iTunes Top Albums Chart across 87 regions, with the title track WHO claiming the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 112 countries. Furthermore, the album debuted at the No. 1 position on Oricon’s daily album chart, while the title track debuted at the No. 2 position on the daily digital singles chart.

In its debut week, Muse reached the No. 2 position on the Billboard 200 chart, while the title track, WHO, made a notable entrance into the Hot 100 charts at No. 14 and enjoyed seven consecutive weeks on the chart.

In other news, Jimin recently appeared on the travel variety program Are You Sure?!, alongside fellow BTS member Jungkook. The program wrapped up on September 19, 2024, after airing eight episodes.
