BTS’s Jungkook has further established his influence in the music landscape by clinching two prestigious awards at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.
Major Wins
The globally admired artist won the accolade for “Top K-Pop Album”with his debut solo album, GOLDEN, and “Top Global K-Pop Song”for his title track, “Standing Next to You.”This marks a remarkable achievement as he has now won the latter award consecutively, following the success of his previous solo single, “Seven.”

Despite his outstanding achievements, Jungkook did not win the award for “Top Global K-Pop Artist,”which went to fellow K-pop sensation Stray Kids. Additionally, he fell short in the “Top Selling Song”and “Top Song Sales Artist”categories, where country artist Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”prevailed.
