On September 22, 2024, Deadline reported that BTS’ Jungkook’s latest documentary film, I AM STILL, generated over $2.36 million during its debut week in the US. The film premiered across 720 theaters in the US on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

The documentary raked in over $384K on Friday, September 20 alone. From September 18 to 22, I AM STILL reached a remarkable profit of $2.36 million. Fans were ecstatic with the news, marking Jungkook as the first Asian solo artist to achieve the highest opening week in US box office history.

Highlighting his global influence, one fan celebrated on X (formerly Twitter) and proclaimed him as a king:
