South Korean singer IU dazzled fans with two encore performances for the HEREH World Tour at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21 and 22, 2024. This highly anticipated tour commenced in March 2024, featuring concerts in various countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, and many others.
On September 22, IU celebrated the final encore performance, which also marked her 100th concert, making her the first-ever Korean female solo artist to achieve this milestone. Numerous K-pop idols were in attendance, including BTS members Kim Taehyung (V) and j-hope, G-DRAGON, ATEEZ’s Jongho, and members of LE SSERAFIM.
IU Concludes the HEREH World Tour with Encore Shows in Seoul
Lee Ji-eun, popularly known as IU, kicked off her worldwide tour on March 2, 2024, with a spectacular performance at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. This tour followed her successful sixth EP, THE WINNING, which was released on February 20, 2024.
This album features the pre-release single Love Wins All, which debuted on January 24, 2024, featuring BTS’ Kim Taehyung. IU closed her September 22 concert with this track. Fans also noticed the presence of South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk at her concert, who had attended the opening show on March 2 as well.
Notably, BTS members Taehyung and j-hope reportedly took official leave to witness IU’s historic 100th concert.

THE WINNING was released globally, boasting two lead tracks, Holssi and Shopper. Other tracks from the EP include Shh.. (featuring Hyein and Wonsun Joe; narrated by Patti Kim), I Stan U, and Love Wins All. This EP marked IU’s significant return to the music scene following her previous release, Pieces, in 2021.
The official music video for Shopper featured the Australian-Korean artist Christian Yu aka DPR IAN, with his team’s expert editing. Billboard recognized the album as one of “The 20 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024 (So Far): Staff Picks,”ranking it at No. 2.
