A horse plays a crucial role in any Zelda game, enabling players to traverse the expansive world rapidly. In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, players can unlock the ability to summon a horse, but what’s the quickest way to obtain one right at the start?

How to Acquire a Horse

Once Hyrule becomes accessible, head over to Hyrule Ranch. Initially, you won’t be able to borrow any horses, as one has escaped. Start the quest titled “Runaway Horse” and travel westward from the ranch. Soon, you’ll discover the lost horse stuck in the middle of a lake. Construct a few beds to navigate across and use the Bind ability to retrieve it.

Now you can freely access the ranch’s horses and explore the surrounding areas. However, you’ll need to return to the ranch each time you want a horse. To summon one whenever you desire (including Zelda’s horse), you must first complete the “Still Missing” quest, followed by accepting the Impa’s Gift quest at Hyrule Castle.
