The use of Incense will also be enhanced. On even-numbered days, trainers can attract Pokémon like Snorlax, Blitzle, Yamask, Lampent, and Holiday Wooloo. On odd-numbered days, expect encounters with Galarian Zigzagoon, Togetic, Foongus, Furfrou, and Cetoddle. With increased wild spawns and enhanced effectiveness of Incense, this event offers fantastic opportunities for capturing Pokémon. Remember, the special encounters are available only for a limited time; players have three days for even-numbered Pokémon and three days for odd-numbered Pokémon before the regular spawn rates resume.
All Raids During The Holiday Part 2 Event
Keep An Eye Out For Raid Opportunities
The Holiday Part 2 event introduces a diverse array of Raid Battles, allowing trainers of all skill levels to participate. In one-star raids, trainers can encounter Pokémon like Alolan Vulpix, Galarian Darumaka, Litwick, and of course, the debut of Shiny Cetoddle. This presents accessible opportunities for trainers to catch shiny variants!
Three-star raids offer a greater challenge, featuring Pokémon such as Snorlax, Banette, Zebstrika, and Toucannon. While shiny variants are not guaranteed, the event will improve your odds of finding them. Raids of this level are best suited for experienced trainers who have built up their teams. For five-star raids, players should be at least level 30, while those aiming for higher-level raids should be prepared as well. Notable raids will include Giratina (Altered Forme), starting on December 26 at 10:00 AM local time.

The Pokémon GO Holiday Part 2 event contains a wealth of rewards for dedicated trainers. Players can engage in special Field Research tasks that lead to unique holiday-themed encounters. For a fee of $5 (or its local equivalent), trainers can access exclusive Timed Research, yielding rewards such as one Glacial Lure Module, two Incense, and a Wooloo Jacket for their avatar.
Note that purchases, including gifts, are non-refundable and cannot be made using PokéCoins. Trainers who maintain a “Great Friends”status can purchase and gift Timed Research tickets to their fellow trainers. It’s crucial to complete Timed Research by 8:00 PM local time on December 27, 2024 to avoid losing out on sweet rewards. Throughout the event, catches will accrue double XP, and Raid Battles will yield a 50% XP bonus!
Additionally, the event extends the duration of Daily Adventure Incense to give trainers twice the time from December 25, 2024, to January 5, 2025, maximizing their encounters with Pokémon. Completing special tasks throughout the event will reward trainers with Stardust, Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and additional chances to meet event Pokémon.
Finally, look out for fresh avatar items in the in-game shop, such as the Staryu and Marshtomp sweaters, available during and after the event. The Pokémon GO Web Store will offer bundles, including the Ultra Holiday Box and Holiday Ultra Ticket Box, packed with various valuable items and event tickets.
