Currently, there are seven types of Magic Items available: Wild Cards, Elite Wild Cards, Chest Keys, Book of Cards, Magic Coin, Card Boost Potion, and Wild Shards. It’s important to note that players have limits to the number of each Magic Item they can hold.

You can find Magic Items in Clash Royale through various means such as chests, Lucky Drops, Trophy Road, and in-game offers. Once a Magic Item is acquired, it is displayed in the player’s inventory.

Players can utilize Magic Items in Clash Royale to level up cards immediately, open chests directly, boost cards without upgrading them, and acquire evolutions for eligible cards.

This article covers the complete list of Magic Items in Clash Royale.

1) Wild Cards

Wild Cards are available in five rarities that mirror the playable cards: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion. Players can convert Wild Cards to any card of the same rarity. For example, Common Wild Cards can be transformed into any Common card such as Knight or Arrows.

The limits on the number of Wild Cards players can possess are as follows:

  • 5000 Common Wild Cards
  • 1250 Rare Wild Cards
  • 200 Epic Wild Cards
  • 20 Legendary Wild Cards
  • 20 Champion Wild Cards

Moreover, the specific number of Wild Cards needed for card upgrades is deducted from the total. If a Rare Card requires 10 copies to evolve, exactly 10 Rare Wild Cards will be used as long as the player has enough. If not, all Rare Cards of that rarity will be converted.

2) Book of Cards

The Book of Cards is utilized to gain necessary copies of a specific card required for an upcoming upgrade. For instance, if a player needs 1000 more copies, using a Book of Cards will produce those copies.

There are five types of Books of Cards:

  • Common Book of Cards: For use on Common Cards.
  • Rare Book of Cards: For use on Rare Cards.
  • Epic Book of Cards: For use on Epic Cards.
  • Legendary Book of Cards: For use on Legendary Cards.
  • Book of Books: Can be employed on cards of all five rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion.

These Books can only be applied to cards that are Level 13 or lower. Notably, the Book of Books is one of only two Magic Items in Clash Royale capable of generating copies of Champions.

3) Magic Coin

The Magic Coin serves as a substitute for gold when upgrading cards. If sufficient copies are available for an upgrade, using the Magic Coin allows for the upgrade to occur without any cost of gold. Players can hold just one Magic Coin at a time.

4) Card Boost Potion

The Card Boost Potion increases the level of a card up to the player’s King’s level. However, its effect is temporary, lasting only one hour. For example, a player with King Level 13 can use it on a Level 9 card, boosting it to Level 13. Players are allowed to hold up to eight Card Boost Potions.

5) Wild Shard

Elite Wild Cards are crucial for upgrading cards from Level 14 to 15. Once a card hits Level 14, players no longer receive its copies but gain Elite Wild Cards instead. The conversion rates for cards are as follows:

  • 1 Common Card: 1 Elite Wild Card
  • 1 Rare Card: 5 Elite Wild Cards
  • 1 Epic Card: 20 Elite Wild Cards
  • 1 Legendary Card: 1500 Elite Wild Cards
  • 1 Champion Card: 4000 Elite Wild Cards

Elite Wild Cards can be applied to all card types, requiring 50,000 Wild Cards for a single level upgrade. Players can store up to 400,000 Elite Wild Cards.

7) Chest Key
