This update transforms Jafar, granting him the Spark of Imagination, which he aims to use for controlling The Eternity Isle. To safeguard the village from his nefarious plans, players need to thwart his evil ambitions. While most quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley are relatively straightforward, Jafar’s Laboratory may pose a bit of a challenge that could require some guidance.

Upon initiating the quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, your first objective is to locate the key for the main entrance to Jafar’s Palace. To access the door that secures Jafar’s Palace, you must first navigate to Jafar’s Laboratory, situated on the second floor of the palace. Ascend the staircase to your right to reach the grand hall, where you’ll encounter a puzzle. Welcome to Jafar’s laboratory.

Inside the laboratory, look for Jafar’s pet black bird. Inquire about the whereabouts of the key, and it will request food in exchange for the information. Clues about the bird’s dietary preferences can be found on the table to your right, indicating that it enjoys meals made from fresh vegetables and spoiled seafood.

To unlock the door, you will need to complete the hourglass puzzle. Acquire some rotten fish and clams from the nearby ingredient table and utilize the hourglass to switch time zones. Locate a stove, along with tomatoes and carrots. Combine all the ingredients in the pot to prepare food for the bird, then present it to Jafar’s pet in exchange for a special coil. Insert this coil into a power socket embedded in a pillar within the laboratory to progress to the next stage of the puzzle.

To advance, you will need to rotate the white stone plates on the floor of Jafar’s laboratory and adjust the golden mirror so that one side points toward the power socket while the other faces the hourglass. Once completed, the gate will unlock.

After successfully solving the previous puzzle, enter the chamber and retrieve Jafar’s key. Reset the hourglass to its standard position and use the key to unlock the gate. This marks the completion of the quest in Jafar’s Laboratory within Disney Dreamlight Valley.
