Dragon Quest 11: Echoes Of An Elusive Age features a plethora of side quests available for players as they progress through the main storyline. While some quests yield basic rewards such as gold or various items, others offer significant and lasting enhancements to gameplay.

The “Lost Lovers”side quest can be initiated in Havens Above. To find Erdwin’s Bracelet, utilize the Zoom ability to travel to Drustan’s Labyrinth – Trial Isle. Once there, make your way to the saplings leading to the Luminary’s trials. Interact with the sapling located on the right altar to enter The Disciple’s Trial. Proceed south along the corridor until you reach a juncture with three pathways.

To simplify the process, consider employing Holy Protection or utilizing Holy Water. These items enable you to bypass monster encounters, provided your character is at a sufficiently high level.

Select the middle path; this will crumble beneath you, transporting you to the second floor of the trial. In the lower level, advance into the main chamber filled with slot-machine monsters, then navigate to the hallway at the far right. After turning the corner, you will discover a chest containing Erdwin’s Bracelet. You can then use Zoom to return to Havens Above immediately, either after completing the trial or when you’re ready to turn in the quest.

Benefits of the Lost Lovers Side Quest in Dragon Quest 11

The Player Interacting With The Watcher

Erdwin’s Bracelet is classified as an Important Item and doesn’t provide a direct stat boost like traditional equipment. Once you present it to the Watcher, you will receive a significant enhancement to the damage output of the Luminary’s Sword abilities listed below:

  • Earthsplitter – Deals Earth damage.
  • Skysplitter – Deals Wind damage.
  • Seasplitter – Deals Ice damage.
  • Flamesplitter – Deals Fire damage.
  • Brightsplitter – Deals Light damage.
  • Blightsplitter – Deals Dark damage.

It’s important to note that while the MP cost for all these abilities will be permanently increased, the reward of amplified damage is well worth the investment, particularly in the later stages of the game where managing MP is less of a concern.
