The First Berserker: Khazan is an upcoming action RPG developed by Neople, known for its engaging gameplay and dark narrative. The title is set to launch on March 27, 2025, across major platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. To give players an early taste of the intense gameplay, a demo will be available on January 16, 2025, allowing participants to carry over progress into the full game.

Originally presented to the public in December 2023, The First Berserker: Khazan takes place in the intricate universe of Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO), a beloved multiplayer beat ’em up that debuted in Korea in 2005 and made its global mark in 2015. DFO impressively stands as one of the industry’s highest-grossing games, boasting over $22 billion in revenue by June 2023. In contrast to its predecessor, Khazan aims to deliver a darker narrative filled with brutal, fast-paced combat rendered in an eye-catching anime style.

During the Game Awards 2024, Neople and publisher Nexon finally confirmed the official launch date. The presentation of the game included brand new footage, revealing the inspiration from the iconic Berserk manga series and FromSoftware’s acclaimed Souls games. Intriguingly, this trailer received notable guidance from the Russo Brothers, the acclaimed filmmakers recognized for their contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Players purchasing the Standard Edition—available both digitally and physically—will receive the exclusive “Fallen Star”Armor Set. For those opting for the digital-only Deluxe Edition, bonuses include not only the base game and the Fallen Star set but also the “Hero”Armor and Weapon Sets, a digital art book, the complete game soundtrack, and a 72-hour early access pass.
