The new macOS Sequoia update will be launched on September 16, 2024, at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EST / 10:30 PM IST. Below is a universal countdown for the macOS Sequoia release:

Having been in public beta since July 2024, the stable release will allow numerous Mac and MacBook users to experience these exciting features. One of the standout features, Apple Intelligence, leverages the Neural Engine of Apple Silicon to process language, images, and more, fulfilling user requests while ensuring privacy protection.

Apple Intelligence is expected to enhance several applications such as Notes, Mail, Pages, Photos, and even third-party apps. This feature will undergo further development by Apple, with additional functionalities being introduced in subsequent macOS updates.

Unfortunately, Macs older than 2017 and MacBooks prior to 2018 do not qualify for the macOS Sequoia 15 update. However, the good news is that all Mac devices with Apple Silicon will be supported and are likely to continue receiving updates for the foreseeable future.
