(G)I-DLE Members Renew Contracts with Cube Entertainment
In a significant update from Cube Entertainment, all members of the popular girl group (G)I-DLE have officially renewed their contracts. This announcement comes on the heels of their recent accolade at the 2024 Melon Music Awards, where they were honored with the prestigious Daesang (Grand Prize) for Record of the Year.
During their acceptance speech, group leader Soyeon shared the exciting news with fans. “We discussed the matter before going to the stage today, and I’m not the only one who renewed contracts; all five of us did it together,”she revealed. She reassured their dedicated fanbase, known as NEVERLANDs, saying, “We will continue being together from now on, next year, and hopefully forever, so NEVERLANDs, don’t worry.”
Following the awards ceremony, Cube Entertainment published a formal announcement on December 2 confirming the contract renewals. The company stated that these renewals had been finalized following extensive discussions with the members. Notably, Soyeon’s contract had recently expired, indicating her commitment to the group’s future.
The announcement also expressed appreciation for the trust the members placed in the agency, as well as gratitude towards the fans for their unwavering support. Cube highlighted its dedication to fostering (G)I-DLE’s growth since their debut in 2018, ensuring that the group continues to achieve new heights in their career.
