Dead by Daylight Mobile is gearing up to conclude its service as publisher NetEase Games pivots its focus from the popular asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror title. Players can continue enjoying the mobile experience on their devices until mid-March 2025, with the game remaining available on consoles and PC thereafter.

Initially launched as a PC exclusive in June 2016, Dead by Daylight has expanded across various platforms over its eight-plus years. The mobile iteration skyrocketed in popularity upon its launch in April 2020, achieving over a million downloads within just 48 hours on mobile platforms.

Despite its success and the continual introduction of new killers and survivors, the mobile version’s lifecycle is set to conclude. Players will have access to Dead by Daylight Mobile until March 20, 2025, according to an announcement on the official Dead by Daylight Mobile news page. Those eager to experience the game or revisit it before it is phased out should act promptly, as it will be removed from the App Store and Google Play Store on January 16, 2025.

As the mobile version of the game prepares for its closure, Behaviour Interactive, the developer, intends to keep providing new content for Dead by Daylight on PC and console platforms. Mobile users who transition to play on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or Nintendo Switch will receive a generous welcome package as a token of appreciation.

The standard rewards package includes 500,000 Bloodpoints and 2,250 Iridescent Shards. Players who have made in-game purchases might be eligible for additional rewards based on their spending, potentially amassing as much as 5,000 Auric Cells and 108,000 Iridescent Shards for expenditures exceeding $200, along with up to 2 million more Bloodpoints based on their player experience. To access these rewards, players must log into the mobile game and their Behaviour Interactive account to choose the platform for redemption before the March 20, 2025, deadline. Existing players already engaging with Dead by Daylight on other platforms will also qualify for this welcome package as a gesture of gratitude for their dedication.
